Ungathenga (meaning "trading post" in Zulu) is a delightful, secluded cottage which can sleep up to four people in it's two bedrooms, each with two single built-in-beds. Each room has a fan to keep the African heat at bay. With Ungathenga's fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, toilet and basin, you are assured of a comfortable stay. This lovely quaint cottage is surrounded by bush veldt trees and views of the surrounding mountains.

Ungathenga cottage was originally built as a trading post which served the miners of the old mine which is situated on the reserve, and we have tried to keep the theme and ambience that was once of the old African tradition. A separate thatched lapa for outdoor living with a sheltered boma and braai area is available for your exclusive use and outdoor entertainment.
