The meaning of the words Thlapi Metzi are “Waters of the Fish”, and is KunKuru’s pride and joy, specially for honeymooners and romantic couples. This chalet was built in 1999 on the banks of “Loch Rossi” a fish filled dam - cum watering hole. It is a thatched structure with an upstairs loft bedroom and a twin bedroom downstairs.

This chalet is fully equipped with a full kitchen, fridge, stove and custom made crockery. It also boasts water side boma and braai area together with a rock “swimming hole” for your exclusive use. This is a favourite of all KunKuru's visitors and early bookings are essential especially during the summer months
